New Employment

After returning from our Wedding, John talked to the Vintage Wine and Cigar shop owner in the Bridge Street Mall. He had expressed interest in hiring John before the wedding, but couldn't afford to hire him then have him be gone for the three weeks we were in California/Jamaica. The owner offered John a full-time position at the shop. The offer is $2 an hour less than what he is making at Publix, but it is in the industry John feels passionate about. He has decided to quit his job at Publix and take the full-time position at the wine shop. Last week, he gave Publix his two-weeks notice. He is currently working at both the wine shop and Publix. He is very excited about the opportunity!
